Most ‘cheap’ supermarket shampoos and conditioners available today are full of ingredients that actually create a vicious cycle; often containing agents that strip the hair of it’s natural oil, leading to your hair overcompensating to create more oil. This results in greasy hair that feels like it need washing all of the time. This contributes to you washing your hair more often, culminating in your hair drying out and you reaching for the same shampoo or conditioner to fix this.
Your hair is amazingly competent at keeping itself clean. Our shampoo and conditioner work in tandem with your hair, removing dead skin cell buildup and grime as well as maintaining your hair’s delicate natural oils.
Our SLS-free shampoo does take a little more effort to work into a foam, but this will help stimulate your scalp through a longer massage, keeping it squeaky clean and flake free! Our conditioner is full of natural shine-inducing ingredients that smooth and moisturise the hair shaft, with no nasty preservatives that can do more damage than good.
The packaging has been made from sugarcane, meaning no carbon footprint and they are 100% recyclable!
Our Nourish & Shine Shampoo contains:
- Argan Oil - just like the skin on your face or body, your scalp needs to be regularly cleansed to help unclog pores and remove dead skin. Argan Oil is perfect for this as it is rich in Vitamin E, F and natural phenols to give your hair the nutrition it needs to maintain a healthy hair and scalp.
- Sweet Almond Oil is a rich source of Vitamins A, B and E that help to support and protect hair from daily damage.
- Aloe Vera Leaf contains Proteolytic Enzymes that help to unblock hair follicles as well as promote hair repair.
- Hydrolysed Wheat Protein - this protein can help increase hair strength, making it less susceptible to breakage. It also supports hair condition, maintains texture and prevents hair from drying out. Using Hydrolysed Wheat in hair care is safe for people mildly allergic to gluten, as the gluten protein is too large to be absorbed through the skin.
Our Hydrate & Smooth Conditioner contains:
- Argan Oil contains high levels of fatty acids which can help to soothe the scalp, as well as condition hair and restore hydration.
- Sweet Almond Oil is know for its conditioning effect on both skin and hair. It is packed with Vitamin E to help moisturise, add shine and soften the entire hair shaft.
- Hydrolysed Sweet Almond Seedcake repairs and protects the hair structure, enhancing its shine, softness and volume. It is hydrolysed from Almond Seedcake (not literal cake) that is full of moisturising and smoothing ingredients.
Application
Start with dispensing a small amount of shampoo to the palms and gently massage into the scalp to create a slight lather (avoid the ends of your hair if they are dry). Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Follow with conditioner, gently massaged all over the scalp and hair shaft (rub into the ends of your hair if they are dry). Leave on for 3-5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with warm water. For shinier results, rinse with cold/lukewarm water.
